ABOUT BRINC:
At BRINC, we are redefining public safety with an innovative ecosystem of life-saving tools. Our journey started with the development of drones and ruggedized throw phones, designed to access unsafe areas and establish communication to de-escalate situations. Today, we've expanded into creating and deploying 911 response networks, where drones are dispatched to 911 calls to provide real-time visual data, enhancing safety and enabling de-escalation-focused responses. Our cutting-edge solutions are utilized by over 600 public safety agencies across America and the company has raised over $150M from investors, including Index Ventures, Motorola Solutions, Sam Altman, Dylan Field, Mike Volpe, Alexandr Wang and more. At BRINC, we are committed to recruiting the world's best talent to join us in our mission to support first responders in saving lives.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Weβre looking for a Product Marketing Manager who will become the definitive voice of BRINCβs products in the market. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of product, sales, and customer insight - one that requires equal parts of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
In the near term, youβll own the product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market materials that help our sales team win. Youβll develop a deep understanding of our products, our customers (public safety agencies across America), and the competitive landscape. As you grow into the role, youβll become a critical voice in shaping BRINCβs product roadmap, particularly on the software side, translating field insights into prioritized features that move the business forward.
If you thrive in fast-moving environments where your work directly shapes how a category-defining product lands in the market, this role is for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Positioning & Messaging
- Develop and own clear, compelling positioning and messaging frameworks that differentiate BRINC in the public safety market.
- Translate complex hardware and software capabilities into crisp customer value propositions that resonate with law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical officials.
- Run a living competitive intelligence program β tracking competitor products, pricing, and positioning to inform both sales strategy and product decisions.
Go-to-Market & Launch
- Own product launches end-to-end, from GTM strategy and asset creation through sales enablement and post-launch measurement.
- Develop a library of sales tools: one-pagers, battlecards, demo scripts, product videos, and technical documentation.
- Partner with Content and Design teams to develop marketing campaigns and digital programs that drive product awareness and pipeline.
Customer & Market Intelligence
- Surface actionable insights through ongoing customer interviews, ride-alongs, and field research β feeding findings directly into marketing strategy and product direction.
- Act as the internal voice of the customer, sharing what you learn with Sales, Product Engineering, and Leadership to influence roadmap priorities.
Product Roadmap Influence
- Work with Product and Engineering to identify and prioritize software improvements based on competitive gaps and field feedback.
- Coordinate usability testing and customer pilots, synthesizing results into clear recommendations for the R&D team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of product marketing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to take products to market - from positioning and messaging through launch execution and sales enablement.
- Strong written and verbal communicator who can distill complex technical concepts into clear, customer-resonant language.
- Experience building and maintaining competitive intelligence programs.
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and the best ideas win regardless of title.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (ClickUp, Asana, Confluence, JIRA, or equivalents).
PREFERRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
- Experience at a company that makes a physical product (hardware, hardware+software, or devices).
- Background in public safety, defense, law enforcement technology, or mission-critical hardware.
- Experience marketing both a hardware product and a companion software platform.
- Broader marketing exposure beyond product marketing - demand generation, content, digital, or campaign management.
- Comfort working with design tools (Figma) and collaborating closely with designers on asset creation.
- Experience conducting structured customer research: interviews, surveys, ride-alongs, or usability studies.
- Familiarity with drone technology, robotics, or autonomous systems.
BRINC CULTURE VALUES:
- Try the hard stuff
- Be innovative - Invent the future
- Move fast
- Listen to end-users
- Strive for excellence
- Donβt build a dystopia
- Be frugal
- Save lives through technology
