About the Role
We are looking for a lead Site Reliability Engineer to join BRINC, where you will own the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our production systems. You will build secure cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines that power our worldwide real-time services.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own platform reliability, uptime, and on-call practices for worldwide real-time services
- →Build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems
- →Write automation and internal tooling to improve developer velocity and reduce toil
- →Implement observability, alerting, and incident response/postmortems
- →Drive capacity planning, disaster recovery, and cost/performance optimization
- →Collaborate cross-functionally to support live drone data streaming and customer workflows
Requirements
- ✓BS/MS/PhD in CS or related field, with 5+ years operating production systems and building infrastructure
- ✓Strong software engineering fundamentals; comfortable writing production-quality code (Python/Node/Javascript, etc.)
- ✓Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern cloud patterns
- ✓Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and safe release processes
- ✓Excellent attention to detail around security, scalability, and performance
