About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Enterprise team at Buildout, the AI deal engine for CRE brokerages. This role focuses on building scalable backend systems and helping scale our engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and launch excellent software by understanding customer needs and engineering elegant solutions
- →Make sound technical and architectural decisions that balance customer urgency with long-term maintainability
- →Collaborate with Product, UX, and Customer-facing teams to translate enterprise needs into scalable solutions
- →Contribute to a strong engineering culture through code reviews, pairing, and mentorship
- →Help establish and reinforce standards for code quality, testing, and technical decision-making
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of product software development experience, ideally within SaaS or enterprise environments
- ✓Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React
- ✓Demonstrated ability to own complex problems end-to-end and deliver high-quality solutions
- ✓Strong technical judgment and ability to explain decisions clearly
- ✓Collaborative mindset and experience mentoring others
