About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join bunch, a leading tech-enabled fund administrator for VC, PE, and alternative assets. You will play a pivotal role in building the technology that powers bunch, enabling funds and private investors to seamlessly and securely set up and manage their investment entities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend services that solve real customer problems
- →Collaborate with Product Managers to actively participate in problem discovery and solution creation
- →Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features and improvements
- →Enhance functionality and proactively address technical debt to maximize team output
- →Contribute to improving collaboration and communication within the team
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional experience building backend systems in fast-paced environments
- ✓Proficient in backend development with TypeScript or any strongly typed language
- ✓Experience with SQL databases, Nest.js, or similar web/dependency management frameworks
- ✓Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance tuning
- ✓Experience with fintech, highly regulated industries, or document processing is a plus
- ✓Team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
- ✓Passion for technology with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem-solving skills
