About the Role
We are looking for a CAD Designer / 3D BIM Modeller to support complex infrastructure and process projects. This role involves developing coordinated 2D and 3D design models across water, wastewater, energy, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for process and MEICA systems using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D
- →Prepare Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) in coordination with process and design engineers
- →Produce General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, and installation drawings for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
- →Support BIM Level 2/3 project delivery by following established BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
- →Coordinate models across disciplines and assist in resolving design clashes using tools such as Navisworks
- →Maintain drawing registers, file naming conventions, and revision control
- →Participate in design reviews, model coordination meetings, and BIM workshops
Requirements
- ✓Graduate degree or Professional Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- ✓Proven experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, or similar 3D modelling and CAD software
- ✓Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process systems
- ✓Working knowledge of BIM methodologies and collaborative design processes
- ✓Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments
- ✓Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is considered an asset
- ✓Familiarity with scan-to-BIM workflows, laser survey data, or point cloud integration
- ✓Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards
