About the Role
We are looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer who is passionate about changing the way people learn English. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-performance features while maintaining a robust, scalable codebase.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conceive, design, build, and launch new user-facing features
- →Lead development of new features and improvements for Cambly’s Student and Tutor experience
- →Optimize performance and ensure a smooth, high-quality teaching & learning experience
- →Collaborate with product and design teams to build product experiences that help students find the perfect tutor
- →Maintain a high code quality product through code reviews, testing, and best practices
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of full-stack development experience
- ✓3+ years of experience with React
- ✓Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- ✓Experience building and maintaining production systems using tools like Lighthouse, Sentry, New Relic, etc.
- ✓Good understanding of frontend technologies, patterns, and best practices
- ✓Good understanding of backend systems, patterns, and best practices
- ✓Passion for building products that have a real impact on users
