About the Role

This position will have a design or technical focus and be a member of our multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with design and technical leadership. You will be an integral part of project teams, assisting with the execution of project goals throughout all phases.

Key Responsibilities

→Assist Senior Interior Designer and/or Project Manager with the execution of project goals throughout all phases
→Assist in the development of design including planning and three-dimensional studies
→Independently assist in the design development and documentation of interior spaces
→Provide support with furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE) selection, layout and specifications
→Produce drawings in conformance with project time, cost and quality constraints
→Identify, research and apply building and life safety codes to applicable interior design work
→Prepare renderings and other presentation materials
→Follow CannonDesign drawing standards
→Participate in client meetings and construction administration activities
→Mentor less experienced interior design staff

Requirements

✓Bachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or relevant field required
✓Minimum of 4 years of related experience required
✓Current NCIDQ certification is preferred
✓Must be able to participate in the development of projects' technical or design characteristics and content
✓Strong creative design portfolio is essential
✓Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills
✓Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required
✓Travel as required
