Job Summary: The Recruiter will focus on executing full-cycle recruiting across Canopy Aerospace & Defense operating companies, supporting hiring needs across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions. This role is primarily responsible for day-to-day recruiting execution, candidate pipeline management, and delivering high-quality hiring outcomes in a fast-paced environment.Β

This individual will leverage established recruiting processes and systems (Lever ATS) while helping to enhance and scale recruiting operations. This role will also partner on select strategic initiatives, including onboarding improvements and early career program development.Β
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day recruiting activities across multiple open requisitions, from intake through offer stage
β’
Partner with hiring managers to align on role requirements, candidate profiles, and interview expectations
β’
Screen, interview, and present qualified candidates in a timely and efficient manner
β’
Proactively build and manage candidate pipelines across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate roles
β’
Ensure a high-quality, responsive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
β’
Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams
β’
Utilize Lever ATS to manage requisitions, track candidate activity, and maintain accurate documentation
β’
Follow established workflows, interview stages, and compliance requirements
β’
Support ongoing data integrity and reporting accuracy
β’
Partner closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition lead to prioritize hiring needs and drive timely decisions
β’
Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, interview progress, and hiring challenges
β’
Support coordination of interviews and offer processes
β’
Assist in managing agency partnerships, including candidate coordination and feedback tracking
β’
Leverage sourcing tools (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals) to support pipeline generation
β’
Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership on special projects related to recruiting operations
β’
Support the development of onboarding processes and early career (internship/campus) programs
β’
Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and candidate experience
β’
Ensure all recruiting activities adhere to EEO, OFCCP, ITAR, and company compliance standards
β’
Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation within the ATS
Required Qualifications
β’
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or technical environments
β’
Experience managing multiple requisitions in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
β’
Hands-on experience with Lever (ATS) or similar systems, with strong attention to data accuracy and process adherence
β’
Proven ability to recruit across a range of roles, including manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions
β’
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
β’
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
β’
Experience working in a structured or compliance-driven environment (e.g., aerospace & defense, government contracting)
β’
Exposure to early career recruiting, internship programs, or onboarding processes
β’
Experience partnering with agencies and external recruiting vendors
β’
Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
