About the Role

We are looking for an Account Executive to join Canva's Public Sector team, supporting organizations that need to design at scale. This role focuses on driving sales with nonprofit customers and building strategic plans to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

→Own the full sales cycle, identifying and securing net new nonprofit customers
→Drive growth within existing accounts by uncovering opportunities for deeper adoption
→Build and execute strategic plans to achieve sales goals and drive logo acquisition
→Create lasting relationships with nonprofit leaders and decision-makers
→Understand and communicate customer needs through discovery sessions
→Leverage data to identify growth opportunities and inform upsell strategies
→Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Success, Product, and Marketing

Requirements

✓Sales-driven with proven experience driving net new business and growing existing accounts
✓Understanding of the nonprofit sector, including challenges, goals, and decision-making processes
✓Consultative sales expertise with strong discovery skills
✓Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas simply
✓Experience working in cross-functional environments
✓Strategic thinking with proficiency in account planning and execution
✓Data literacy with comfort using data to identify trends and measure success
✓Motivated and adaptable with a growth mindset
