About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative at Canva to focus on Sales and Success support. This role involves identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- βCollaborate closely with the Sales and Success team to identify and pursue strategic pipeline opportunities
- βBuild sales pipeline using cold outreach and social selling by scheduling and running qualification meetings
- βGain in-depth knowledge of Canva technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, and industry trends
- βWork cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development initiatives
- βUtilize tools like Salesforce, Pocus, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Gong to maintain pipeline generation and hygiene strategies
- βDeliver on weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance metrics
Requirements
- βProven track record of successfully identifying and executing partnerships that drive revenue growth
- βExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- βOrganized, possesses great time management skills
- βGoal Oriented; able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment
- βExperience with cold outreach, account planning, pre-call preparation, opportunity qualification, and objection handling
- βExperience with Salesforce, Outreach Tools, and cold calling
