About the Role
We are looking for a Content Specialist to join Canva's Content Copywriting team. This role focuses on creating and elevating content that helps users create and communicate with confidence at Canva's massive scale.
Key Responsibilities
- βContribute to creative strategy and content development across template categories
- βWrite, edit, and review content across various formats while ensuring clarity and consistency
- βCollaborate with designers and stakeholders to ensure content and visuals work together seamlessly
- βApply and help evolve style guides and quality standards
- βManage content workflows, including briefs, reviews, and iteration cycles
- βUse AI tools to support content strategy, execution, and quality reviews
- βProvide constructive feedback to collaborators and contribute to improving content workflows
Requirements
- βAt least five years of experience in content writing, copywriting, editorial, or content strategy within a tech or digital product environment
- βExceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging
- βStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring consistency with brand voice
- βExperience collaborating across disciplines and managing multiple projects
- βStrategic thinking with user empathy, connecting content decisions to business goals
- βFamiliarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
- βOpenness to giving and receiving constructive feedback
