About the Role
We are looking for an Education Growth Manager to join Canva's team in SΓ£o Paulo, Brazil. This role focuses on driving education as a growth vertical, working with teachers and students to increase adoption and usage of Canva in classrooms.
Key Responsibilities
- βOwn Education as a growth vertical in Brazil β driving activation, repeat usage, and measurable adoption across teachers and students.
- βDesign and execute Brazilβs education growth strategy β from grassroots teacher engagement to municipality-level partnerships.
- βShift the focus from βtrainβ to βactivate & retainβ β embedding Canva into everyday classroom workflows.
- βAlign Sales, Marketing, Content, Product, and Partnerships around clear education growth outcomes.
- βIdentify friction in onboarding and reduce barriers to sustained usage at scale.
- βBuild scalable, locally relevant initiatives that turn education into a compounding acquisition and frequency engine.
Requirements
- βHave built or scaled something measurable β a market, a vertical, a segment β and can clearly articulate the growth levers behind it.
- βThink in activation, retention, and habit formation β not just awareness or top-line sales.
- βBe hands-on and comfortable operating without a rigid playbook β rolling up your sleeves when needed.
- βNavigate both grassroots environments (teachers, schools, communities) and strategic conversations (partners, stakeholders, government).
- βThrive in cross-functional environments and can influence without authority.
- βBe curious, adaptable, and excited about shaping a vertical that doesnβt yet have a fully defined playbook.
