About the Role
We are looking for a Product Optimization Specialist to join Canvaβs team. This role focuses on delivering a fully-featured product experience for users while ensuring long-term sustainability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- βPartner with product, engineering, and finance teams to develop a deep understanding of Canvaβs ongoing hosting considerations
- βWork with product leaders to implement optimisation strategies that deliver sustainable cost savings at scale
- βOwn the cross-company roadmap for usage-based cost optimisation across Canvaβs key product surface areas
- βBuild sustainable patterns, practices, and rituals to help product managers and leaders model the impact of proposed features
- βCommunicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- βA strong blend of product sense and technical acumen to understand how product usage translates to product architecture
- βStrong commercial sense to translate product usage into business, revenue, and hosting cost impacts
- βStrategic thinker with a track record of executing large-scale projects successfully
- βExperience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment is preferred
- βExcellent communication and collaboration skills
- βBonus experience - FinOps experience in a high-growth tech company
