About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Video AI Engine team at Canva. This role focuses on building and scaling backend services that support video AI infrastructure, enabling users to create cinematic stories effortlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuilding and scaling backend services supporting video AI infrastructure
- βDeveloping robust APIs and pipelines for video model inference
- βOptimising systems for latency, reliability, and throughput

Requirements
- βExperience building and scaling distributed backend systems
