About the Role
We are looking for a Data Foundation Builder to join Canva's growing LATAM team. This role focuses on building data infrastructure and dashboards to support market growth across Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild the Data Foundation for growing markets in LATAM (Mexico, Argentina, etc.)
- βDesign and build dashboards from scratch that bring visibility to important LATAM metrics
- βOwn the data Strategy End-to-End
- βPartner with Local, Regional, and Central Teams
- βTell the Story Behind the Numbers
- βIdentify Problems Before Theyβre Obvious
- βSupport Product & Experimentation Initiatives
Requirements
- βStrong SQL and data wrangling skills
- βFamiliarity with Canvaβs data stack (Looker, Snowflake, Mode, Netspring)
- βProven experience building dashboards and tracking frameworks
- βAbility to define and track key metrics across the user journey
- βPrior experience partnering with cross-functional teams
- βStrong communication and storytelling skills
- βHands-on experience using AI in your work
- βStrategic thinking and ownership
- βExperience working in or analyzing LATAM markets
- βUnderstanding of mobile analytics and behavioral funnels
- βWorking proficiency in Spanish
