About the Role
We are looking for a C++ Engineer to join Canva's Video Studio team. This role focuses on building high-performance native C++ components for on-device machine learning features within Canva’s products.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build high-performance native C++ components that enable on-device machine learning features
- →Integrate ML inference capabilities into user-facing workflows
- →Optimize systems to run efficiently across a wide range of devices
- →Collaborate with engineers across client, platform, and backend teams
- →Turn ML-powered prototypes into polished experiences used by millions
Requirements
- ✓Strong commercial experience building and maintaining production C++ systems
- ✓Experience shipping on-device ML features for media-related use cases
- ✓Comfortable integrating native code into larger application stacks
- ✓Ability to clearly communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders
