About the Role
We are looking for a highly qualified Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at Capco, a global technology and business consulting firm focused on the financial services and energy sectors. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using Node.js, Java, and frameworks like Spring Boot and Camel.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot.
- →Implement and manage APIs with Apigee, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
- →Build and optimize cloud-native applications using AWS services.
- →Integrate backend services with other systems using Apache Camel and related tools.
- →Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and DevOps teams for end-to-end solutions.
- →Ensure code quality with best practices, code reviews, and unit testing.
- →Monitor and troubleshoot backend performance issues, ensuring reliability and availability.
- →Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate daily in English with global teams.
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel.
- ✓Strong practical experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.
- ✓Proficiency in API management and deployment with Apigee.
- ✓Solid understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
- ✓Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- ✓Ability to solve complex backend systems and optimize performance.
- ✓Excellent English communication skills for daily collaboration with global teams.
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
