About the Role
Capco is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join their Technology Delivery Team. This role involves working with foundation models and generative AI techniques to solve business problems in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop applications using foundation models like large language models
- →Experiment with generative AI techniques such as RAG and prompt engineering
- →Build AI agents and workflows using frameworks like LangChain
- →Develop and test Model Context Protocol integrations
- →Support full-stack application development integrating AI models
- →Work with front-end technologies (React, JavaScript) and back-end frameworks (Python, Node.js)
- →Build and test RESTful APIs and microservices
- →Deploy and monitor AI/ML workloads on cloud platforms
- →Implement MLOps and DevOps best practices
- →Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers
- →Take ownership of smaller projects with mentorship
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or equivalent
- ✓Strong understanding of Python and machine learning frameworks
- ✓Experience with LLMs, generative AI, or related technologies
- ✓Basic understanding of APIs, cloud computing, and software development practices
- ✓Familiarity with modern web frameworks or front-end technologies
- ✓Curiosity for exploring emerging AI tools and frameworks
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Internship or project experience in AI or machine learning
- ✓Understanding of data pipelines, vector databases, or RAG systems
- ✓Experience with tools like GitHub Copilot, OpenAI API
