About the Role
Capco is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support the design, implementation, and documentation of network security solutions. This 6-month contract role requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to work directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as a technical security resource, explaining network security concepts to clients and stakeholders
- →Respond to and clarify technical questions posed by clients
- →Create, maintain, and update detailed technical documentation
- →Design, implement, and support network security controls and best practices
- →Monitor, analyze, and enhance network security posture
- →Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, firewalls, network segmentation, and web filtering technologies
- ✓Strong understanding of network security architecture and best practices
- ✓Experience with system hardening and endpoint security controls
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Prior experience in a client-facing or consulting environment
- ✓Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards
- ✓Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
