About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join Capi, a company helping businesses in emerging markets pay their international suppliers. You'll work with a high-performing team of engineers and product leaders to build technology that solves customer problems in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Contribute to the product process from ideation to building the UI, backend logic, deployment, feedback and measurement
- →Build intuitive and performant web interfaces for business owners in Africa
- →Implement IT security and data protection best practices in a regulated environment
- →Proactively drive architectural decisions to improve scalability, observability, and modularity of the codebase
- →Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth
- →Represent engineering in cross-functional discussions to translate business goals into technical plans
Requirements
- ✓Strong understanding of web development, frontend and backend best practices
- ✓Experience in a VC-backed or high-growth engineering team
- ✓Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment with high pace and ambiguity
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Based in London or Paris
- ✓Experience with Typescript, React, NextJS, NodeJS, Express, PostgreSQL
