About the Role
Cedar is improving the healthcare financial experience. Our technology enhances patient billing and engagement, helping providers thrive while assisting patients in understanding their care costs. We seek a visionary Principal Product Manager to architect the future of user interaction, leading the strategy and scaling of our Personalization Framework to transform Cedar Pay into an intelligent and predictive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Scale and optimize the Personalization Engine, evolving ML capabilities into a deep learning system that delivers timely messages, payment options, or insights to reduce friction in the patient financial journey.
- →Own the Intelligence Strategy, defining Cedar Pay’s AI vision to create AI-driven patient journeys that anticipate needs using proprietary data.
- →Enable Product Squads by acting as the internal champion for consuming teams, defining clear APIs and integration mechanisms.
- →Guide Front-End Experience by partnering with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure effective consumption of the platform's intelligence.
- →Drive Rigorous Experimentation by leading hypothesis-driven development and using A/B testing to validate ML interventions.
- →Connect Strategy to ROI by aligning the AI roadmap with Cedar’s business outcomes to improve patient satisfaction and collection efficiency.
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of Product Leadership with a proven track record of shipping complex products, including at least 3 years focused on ML-driven personalization or recommendation systems.
- ✓AI/ML Fluency, understanding data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, and Gen AI integration nuances.
- ✓Data-Obsessed mindset with expertise in experimentation design and interpreting complex data to pivot strategy.
- ✓Platform Mindset with experience building foundational capabilities like SDKs, APIs, or Internal Tools.
- ✓Cross-Functional Leadership with exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and align engineering, data science, and business teams.
- ✓High-Bar Leader who naturally raises the bar for their team, solving complex problems while maintaining a collaborative environment.
