About the Role

Join the Engineering team at Cheerz as an Engineering Manager Frontend Web, reporting directly to the CTO. You will be responsible for leading a team of web developers and be part of the 'Product Trio' within a squad, working closely with Product Managers and Product Designers.

Key Responsibilities

→Ensure software quality and scalability of your platform
→Facilitate adoption of best practices, standards, and architectural decisions
→Collaborate with Staff Engineers and CTO to co-create technical roadmap
→Identify and lead major technical initiatives
→Support change management and resolve resistance
→Co-lead feature delivery with the Product Trio
→Plan sprints and prioritize technical roadmap
→Allocate resources and track project progress
→Optimize team velocity while maintaining quality
→Meet deadlines with high-quality deliverables
→Analyze and improve team processes
→Identify organizational issues and propose solutions
→Experiment with new practices and measure impact
→Develop team members through regular 1:1s and performance evaluations
→Support career development and identify skill-building opportunities
→Manage underperformance and resolve conflicts
→Create and maintain a culture of trust and transparency
→Recruit, select, and onboard new team members

Requirements

✓Proven experience managing developer teams (3-5+ years)
✓Strong web development background with deep expertise in at least one platform, particularly React
✓Solid understanding of architecture, software quality, and scalability
✓Knowledge of development best practices (CI/CD, testing, code review)
✓Ability to assess technical feasibility and challenge architecture choices
✓Experience optimizing engineering processes and continuous improvement
✓Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and resource allocation
✓Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
✓Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders
