ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Sales Finance Analyst will support financial planning, analysis, and performance management for the companyβs go-to-market organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales Finance, this role will partner closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Concierge and other cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights that support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
This role combines financial analysis with operational partnership. The Sales Finance Analyst will help translate business strategies into actionable financial and operational plans, monitor performance against targets, and support initiatives that improve revenue performance, customer retention, and overall business efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS
- Support budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and long-range planning processes related to revenue and go-to-market initiatives.
- Assist in analyzing financial and operational results versus targets, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Contribute to ROI and cost-benefit analyses for strategic initiatives and business investments.
REVENUE PERFORMANCE & REPORTING
- Prepare and maintain recurring reports and dashboards that track key performance metrics across sales, marketing, and retention.
- Analyze performance trends and help translate data into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Support preparation of materials and analyses for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support leadership decision-making.
OPERATIONAL & STRATEGIC SUPPORT
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategic priorities into measurable initiatives and performance metrics.
- Support projects that improve business processes, reporting, and operational efficiency across the go-to-market organization.
- Assist in tracking and measuring the impact of initiatives designed to improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall business performance.
- Help ensure operational and financial plans remain aligned as business priorities evolve.
- Maintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key financial models, reports, and recurring processes to ensure accuracy, scalability, and cross-team continuity.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Concierge to support business planning and performance management.
- Contribute analysis that helps leaders understand performance drivers and make informed decisions.
- Help ensure reporting and insights are clear, accurate, and actionable for stakeholders across the organization.
WHAT YOUβVE DONE AND ENJOY DOING:
- 2β4 years of experience in finance, FP&A, sales finance, revenue operations, consulting, or a similar analytical role
- Experience supporting business leaders with financial analysis, reporting, and planning
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience working with data and building dashboards or reports to support performance management.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
