About the Role
Chime is seeking engineers to join their growing team, working on APIs that power member-facing products and enhance their banking platform. You will own projects from end-to-end, influencing architecture, implementing APIs, and maintaining code health.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale backend implementations of new and existing consumer product features
- →Collaborate with the mobile team to design and build robust APIs for the mobile app
- →Work with multi-functional teams to understand member challenges and develop creative solutions
- →Proactively identify opportunities to improve system reliability and scalability
- →Contribute to improving and maintaining high technical standards across the engineering team
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience developing software in a production environment at scale
- ✓Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks
- ✓Familiarity with transactional databases and caching systems
- ✓Understanding of architectural patterns for large-scale web applications
- ✓Appreciation for maintainable and well-tested code
- ✓Desire to learn and explore technical details
- ✓Startup experience is a plus
