Job Description: We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Chinese Translator to support critical communication among Chinese, English, and Swahili speaking teams within CHINA STATE FARMS, located in Kilosa, Morogoro. This full-time role is essential for providing accurate, timely language support across all operational, administrative, and technical areas, ensuring seamless cross-cultural collaboration in the agribusiness industry.

Key responsibilities include translating complex documents between the three languages, providing real-time interpretation during crucial field operations and meetings, and assisting in the preparation of bilingual reports and correspondence. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field. • Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience as a Chinese–English translator or interpreter is preferred. • Excellent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken. • Ability to translate written documents from Swahili to Chinese to English and vice versa with high accuracy. • Ability to provide real-time interpretation during meetings, field operations, and official communications. • Proficiency in Swahili is essential for document translation and local communication support. • Strong understanding of agricultural, business, or technical terminology is an added advantage. • Proficiency in translation tools and Microsoft Office Suite. • Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and time management capabilities. • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and provide cultural guidance to staff.
