About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team at CI&T. This role involves working on a challenging project for one of Brazil's largest digital banks, focusing on the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

→Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from feature conception to maintenance and continuous improvement
→Work with object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java and Kotlin
→Implement microservices architecture
→Follow agile practices like SCRUM or KANBAN
→Solve technical problems including bugs and incidents
→Write unit, functional, and performance tests
→Instrument applications for performance monitoring, logging, and metrics

Requirements

✓Proficiency in Java and Kotlin
✓Experience with microservices architecture
✓Knowledge of development best practices (TDD, DDD, Clean Code, Hexagonal Architecture)• Familiarity with agile frameworks like SCRUM or KANBAN
✓Experience with SQL databases
✓Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols
✓Proficiency with GIT and Git Flow
✓Strong communication and teamwork skills
✓Ability to follow client-defined policies and processes
