About the Role
We are looking for a Tech Lead / Developer with JavaScript (Vanilla) expertise to join our development team for a data product at a client in the entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design sustainable architectural improvements
- →Refactor monoliths to microservices and modularize embedded frontends
- →Understand systemic impacts between backend, video platform, devices, product, and user experience
- →Make architectural decisions
- →Serve as a technical reference for multiple squads
- →Document architectural decisions (ADR)
- →Work metrics-driven with a culture of performance and quality
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience with Vanilla JavaScript
- ✓Deep mastery of pure JavaScript without heavy framework dependence
- ✓Solid understanding of event loop, garbage collection, memory leaks, and DOM manipulation in restricted environments
- ✓Knowledge of real hardware limitations: limited CPU, restricted memory, and old browsers
- ✓Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- ✓Experience with synchronous and asynchronous communication
- ✓Experience with relational or non-relational databases
- ✓Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
- ✓Knowledge of Idempotência, Retry, backoff, and Circuit breaker
- ✓Knowledge of observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
