We are looking for a Tech Lead focused on Data Engineering to work on international projects in collaboration with teams in Europe, the United States, Brazil, and other regions. This person will be responsible for providing technical leadership, enforcing best practices, and working hands-on in building and optimizing data pipelines in a cloud (AWS) environment. Responsibilities; -Design, develop, and maintain high-quality data pipelines within AWS.Work with Python to collect, transform, and standardize data (ETL processes) -Utilize tools and services such as AWS Glue, S3, IAM, Data Catalog, Redshift, among others. -Troubleshoot, fix bugs, and provide support for existing pipelines.Define technical standards, perform code reviews, and mentor junior team members. -Participate in the full lifecycle of solutions: architecture, implementation, testing, and validation. -Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance, data quality, and governance. -Collaborate with global teams to ensure solutions meet business and project requirements. Required Qualifications: -Advanced/Fluent English is non-negotiable for daily communication with international teams. -Strong experience as a Data Engineer. -Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and transformation (ETL). -Hands-on experience with AWS, especially Glue, S3, and IAM. -Experience with IaC ( Infrastructure as Code). -Solid background in designing, building, and testing data pipelines. -Ability to work autonomously, propose improvements, and maintain high-quality standards. Nice to Have: -Knowledge of non-functional requirements: performance, security, privacy, GDPR.Experience with Cloud Data Platforms (Redshift, EMR, Snowflake). -Experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing.Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. -Experience automating tasks using Python or other scripting languages.
