Senior/Lead AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote), Colombia at CI&T

Artificial Intelligence is our reality.  As a Senior/Lead AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions. Your expertise will guide the migration and modernization strategies that empower our clients to leverage the full potential of AWS. Collaborating with diverse teams, you will ensure that our cloud architectures are robust, efficient, and aligned with client objectives.   Key Responsibilities: Create and articulate a compelling value proposition for AWS migration, clearly demonstrating its transformational benefits to client executives. Define and execute technical migration and modernization strategies in collaboration with highly technical teams. Deliver modern architectures, including microservices and event-driven architectures, using managed services and cloud-native capabilities. Engage with clients’ development, infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams to identify repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migration. Identify platform improvement opportunities and influence future iterations of the AWS platform and the Migration Acceleration Program. Required Skills and Qualifications:   Must-have Skills:Experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.Experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data, and analytics.Proven experience in a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect role, leading the discovery, design, and build of custom and commercial applications.Proficiency in architecting, designing, and migrating workloads to the public cloud.Familiarity with a range of migration discovery, profiling, migration automation, and operations tools and technologies.Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. Nice-to-have Skills:  Experience with multi-tier distributed architecture within IT consulting, IT operations, application development, or support.Understanding of large IT budgets, complex vendor relationships, and the ability to work across diverse teams to build the case for cloud migration.Strong knowledge of multiple migration strategies, such as rehosting, refactoring, re-architecting, replatforming, and repurchasing.
