About the Role
The New York City Comptroller’s Office seeks a Business Analyst to work with the Bureau of Asset Management on various IT initiatives. This role involves documenting business processes, implementing management plans, and compiling analysis reports.
Key Responsibilities
- →Facilitate and capture business/technical requirements for system modernization
- →Deliver system design migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables
- →Ensure project priorities are clearly communicated and understood
- →Identify opportunities to improve enterprise systems and business processes
- →Serve as a liaison between business users and technical team
- →Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
- →Leverage Power Query to cleanse, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources
Requirements
- ✓Current City of New York employee serving in a permanent Civil Service title of Computer Associate (Software)
- ✓Or, currently reachable on the open competitive civil service list for Computer Associate (Software)
- ✓Clearly indicate current permanent Civil Service title and/or score & list number on the open competitive civil service exam
