About the Role
DCAS is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the Deputy Commissioner and provide guidance on communications and legislative initiatives. This role involves advising on strategies, serving as a liaison to various stakeholders, and contributing to the development of legislative priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as an advisor for the Deputy Commissioner, providing guidance on communications and legislative strategies.
- →Serve as a key touchpoint for the unit with internal DCAS stakeholders.
- →Serve as the Deputy Commissioner's liaison to other city agencies and external partners.
- →Contribute to the development and implementation of the agency’s legislative priorities.
- →Support the Office of Communications in the development of social media content.
- →Draft briefing documents and memos on key agency initiatives.
- →Respond to written correspondences and other inquiries from external stakeholders.
- →Attend meetings with and on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner.
- →Support the Deputy Commissioner with the implementation of special projects.
Requirements
