About the Role
The New York City Comptroller’s Office is seeking a part-time College Aide - Web Developer to join their Bureau of Information Systems. This role involves updating websites and Intranet, developing interactive Google Charts, and creating new features using various technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Update new content to the Comptroller’s Website, Intranet, and Audit Committee site using WordPress admin interface
- →Create interactive Google Charts from excel charts and customize them with JavaScript
- →Perform coding on new features using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JS within the Bootstrap framework
- →Facilitate testing of new code and incorporate feedback before production
- →Perform other duties and assignments as required
Requirements
- ✓Knowledge of WordPress core and plugins in a development environment
- ✓Experience with Google Charts and JavaScript
- ✓Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- ✓Familiarity with the Bootstrap framework
- ✓Good communication skills and ability to work with other Bureaus
- ✓Must be a current college student
