DOHMH has an opening for one (1) Technology Project Manager. This individual will manage multiple projects supporting the current and future response applications, as well as future pandemic preparedness.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Manage project initiatives with third party vendors to meet all quality standards, as well as be on time and on budget. Use extensive project management experience, technical experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Oversee the Business Analysis process for the new response ready application
- Develop a project schedule, a rollout plan and oversee deployment into production, including developing a support plan.
- Be responsible for the execution of the project and/or enhancements from start to finish.
- Triage issues and manage production support.
- Assure proper articulation and reporting of project status to stakeholders and executive management, as well as conduct status meetings.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, Project Management, or technical analyst role, preferably supporting database or infrastructure teams.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and management reports using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage RAID logs, schedules, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with PMO methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server environments sufficient to understand operational impacts, dependencies, and risks (no hands-on administration required).
- Experience analyzing incidents, changes, and service request data to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to synthesize technical information into clear, concise executive-level summaries and visual reporting.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
- Proven ability to collaborate across DBA, application development, QA, infrastructure, security, audit, and PM teams.
- Ability to translate business objectives into measurable operational outcomes and KPIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, process-focused professional with a strong interest in operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
