About the Role
The Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Division of Energy Management (DEM) is seeking an Energy Conservation Specialist to lead efforts in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from City government operations. This role involves managing energy-saving projects and ensuring accurate project reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- →Deliver lighting projects by managing design and construction, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion
- →Perform technical calculations to verify estimated project energy, emissions, and cost savings
- →Perform project tracking and reporting, maintaining project-related documentation
- →Manage invoicing and project close-out, overseeing the process and securing necessary documentation
- →Conduct site visits to assess energy usage reductions and ensure project compliance
- →Support project measurement and verification activities, developing M&V plans consistent with the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in energy management and project management
