About the Role
The NYC Department of Design and Construction is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Step by Step Guides for all procurement and procurement related tasks. This role involves supporting the ACCO’s office in various procurement processes and improving strategies for all units.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Step by Step Guides for all procurement tasks
- →Perform responsibility determinations and respond to requests for reports on work within the Vendor Integrity Unit
- →Develop reports to help the agency track Vendor Integrity activities
- →Process performance evaluations in PASSPort
- →Assist with improvement strategies and reporting for all ACCO units
- →Review current processes and identify improvements to reduce cycle times
- →Use computer systems like Financial Management System (FMS) and PASSPort to track and process procurement actions
Requirements
- ✓Thorough understanding of the New York City Procurement and Policy Board Rules
- ✓Strong computer skills to create reports for tracking and reporting on the status of procurements
- ✓Experience with Financial Management System (FMS) and PASSPort
- ✓Authorization to work in the United States is required
