The NYC Department of Finance (DOF) seeks a Business Research & Data Analyst to join the Tax Policy & Data Analytics Division. This role involves developing estimates and forecasts based on complex programming and data analysis, focusing on real property tax analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- βSelect, develop, and apply statistical and research strategies for real property tax projects
- βAssist with impact analysis of proposed changes to property tax laws and valuation methodologies
- βProduce ad-hoc analysis for senior management and City Agencies
- βDevelop infrastructure for Property Tax Research's main analytical file
- βAssist with the production of annual reports
- βMaintain integrity of property-related data through reporting, testing, and research
- βPresent research findings to senior leadership
Requirements
