About the Role
The New York City Mayor’s Office is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join the Strategic Coordination and Operations team. This role will support the Interagency Response Committee in coordinating across city agencies and external stakeholders to address challenges and recommend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the Interagency Response Committee in leading coordination meetings across agencies, external stakeholders, or leadership as needed
- →Conduct research and gather information to support the committee's needs
- →Project manage key committee deliverables and support the development of recommendations
- →Draft policy papers, create presentations, and develop memos or briefs as needed
- →Maintain key agency relationships and track the work of the committee
- →Support the implementation of Executive Order 13
- →Assist with rapid response and crisis management as required
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree required
- ✓5+ years of experience
- ✓Excellent communication, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- ✓Ability to quickly shift work priorities for time-sensitive projects
- ✓Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ✓Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with limited oversight
- ✓Ability to work independently with broadly defined objectives
