About the Role
We are seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in programming to manage and optimize our database systems, ensure data integrity, and contribute to application development.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage, monitor, and maintain SQL databases to ensure high availability and performance
- →Implement and oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
- →Optimize database performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and resolve issues
- →Design and implement database schemas, tables, and indexing strategies
- →Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- →Collaborate with development teams to design and integrate databases into applications
- →Automate database-related tasks using programming languages
- →Implement database security measures, including role-based access control and encryption
- →Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- →Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and analysts
- →Create and maintain documentation for database systems, configurations, and processes
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- ✓Minimum two to four years of experience in SQL DBA or a related role
- ✓Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
- ✓Familiarity with Ubuntu or its variant
- ✓Proficiency with C# programming language
