About the Role
OTI’s Applications Division is seeking a Training Manager to design and deliver training for Citywide applications and platforms. This role involves supporting the Division’s Business Operations unit and working with subject-matter experts to develop effective training in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and deliver training programs for Citywide applications and platforms
- →Lead training efforts for the City’s content management systems (CMS), including TeamSite and Adobe
- →Develop and maintain high-quality training materials, including instructor-led sessions, virtual training, e-learning content, job aids, and reference documentation
- →Own and manage the Applications Division’s internal wiki
- →Work with product owners, developers, and SMEs to translate complex technical systems into clear, accessible training
- →Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content
- →Support the Applications Division’s Business Operations unit
- →Assist with operational processes such as contract management and purchase requests
- →Serve as backup to the Business Operations Manager
- →Handle special projects and initiatives as assigned
Requirements
- ✓Experience in instructional design and training development
- ✓Knowledge of CMS, TeamSite, and Adobe
- ✓Strong communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- ✓Experience with virtual training and e-learning content development
- ✓Familiarity with HR coordination, vendor management, and procurement tracking
- ✓Understanding of City administrative processes and policies
- ✓Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
