About CitySwift
CitySwift is the worldβs leading performance optimisation platform for public transport, enabling data-driven decision-making for some of the largest transport networks globally. Backed by over β¬15 million in venture capital funding, we partner with major public transport operators and government authorities, including Go-Ahead Group, Transport for London, and many more. CitySwift is experiencing accelerated growth, with 117% year-over-year revenue growth in 2025.
Our mission is to increase the adoption of sustainable public transport worldwide. Today, our platform optimises more than 3 billion passenger journeys annually, and our target is to reach 10 billion journeys by the end of 2026.
At CitySwift, youβll have the opportunity to take ownership, make a measurable impact, and grow professionally as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team. Join us in shaping the future of public transport by driving the next phase of CitySwiftβs growth.
How we work
CitySwift is headquartered in Ireland, with our second office hub in London. We also have team members based in Australia, Singapore and across parts of the EU.
Hybrid working is the default in Ireland (with some exceptions), with remote and hybrid options across the UK and beyond. All roles have core hours of 10am to 4pm, giving you flexibility around how you structure your day. Collaboration really matters to us, with quarterly and bi-monthly meet-ups depending on your department or area of work, but weβre sensible about it β we wonβt ask you to come into the office to tick a box. Our offices are designed for proper collaboration (and are dog friendly!).
We also believe trust and rest matter. Annual leave starts at 25 days, and our work abroad programme gives you the option to work from another country for up to six weeks. We move fast, expect a lot from each other and back people to do their best work.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a meaningful product area end to end. You will shape strategy, uncover the highest-value customer problems, and work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Customer teams, and leadership to deliver outcomes that matter. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who brings clear product judgment, strong discovery habits, and the ability to turn ambiguity into momentum. The role is not just about roadmap management. It is about identifying where CitySwift can create differentiated value, using AI where it genuinely improves customer outcomes or team effectiveness, and raising the quality of decision-making across the product development lifecycle. The best candidates will be comfortable operating at the intersection of product, design, data, and go-to-market. They will know when to go deep on user experience, when to challenge assumptions with evidence, and when to use new AI-native tools and workflows to move faster without compromising quality.
What youβll own
This is a role with real responsibility and autonomy. Youβll own outcomes, make decisions and help shape how we work as we scale, in an environment that values respect, directness and good intent.
This role will:
β’ Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a key area of the CitySwift platform, aligning day-to-day delivery with company goals and customer value.
β’ Run strong product discovery: synthesise customer feedback, usage signals, market context, support insights, and commercial input to identify the right problems to solve.
β’ Partner deeply with Design to shape experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and trusted in complex operational workflows. Treat product and design as a close, collaborative craft rather than sequential handoffs.
β’ Work with Engineering and Data Science to define solutions that are technically credible, valuable to customers, and feasible to ship iteratively.
β’ Identify, validate, and prioritise opportunities to embed AI into the product where it can improve decision quality, workflow efficiency, insight generation, or user experience.
β’ Drive responsible AI adoption in the product lifecycle, including problem framing, experimentation, evaluation, and feedback loops. Help the team distinguish between compelling demos and durable product value.
β’ Use AI tools in your own practice to improve the speed and quality of research synthesis, documentation, prototyping, and delivery, while maintaining strong judgment and accountability.
β’ Define success clearly for the team through outcomes, leading indicators, and post-launch learning rather than feature output alone.
β’ Communicate clearly with stakeholders across the business, bringing structure to ambiguity and helping teams make good trade-offs quickly.
β’ Contribute to the growth of product management at CitySwift by improving ways of working, mentoring others, and raising the bar on discovery, prioritisation, and execution
Key skills
β’ 5+ years in product management, with meaningful experience owning B2B SaaS products from discovery through delivery and iteration.
β’ Proven ability to lead complex product areas with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
β’ Strong product discovery skills, including customer interviewing, problem validation, synthesis, and prioritisation.
β’ Excellent product sense and user experience judgment, with a track record of shipping products or workflows that are both useful and easy to use.
β’ Experience working very closely with Product Design; you value interaction design, information architecture, and workflow quality as core parts of product management.
β’ Comfort working with data, experimentation, and product analytics to inform decisions and measure impact.
β’ Practical understanding of AI-enabled product development. This could include experience with AI features, LLM-powered workflows, human-in-the-loop systems, evaluation approaches, or using AI tools to improve team productivity.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
β’ High ownership, strong judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
β’ Experience in mobility, transport, optimisation, analytics, or other data-rich operational software domains.
β’ Experience building products for expert users in complex B2B environments.
β’ Experience working with machine learning, optimisation, or decision-support products.
β’ Experience mentoring other product managers or helping improve product practices across a team
What youβll get at CitySwift
β’ A role with real scope, where your impact is visible, your salary is reviewed as we grow, and there are career progression opportunities as the company scales and internationalises.
β’ Comprehensive health and life insurance through Laya Healthcare in Ireland and Aviva in the UK.
β’ Flexible working with hybrid working as the default in Ireland, core hours of 10am to 4pm, remote options depending on role and a work abroad programme of up to 6 weeks.
β’ 25 days annual leave from day one, increasing by half a day per year of service, plus company days off, a half day before public holidays and an end of year shutdown.
β’ Enhanced family leave, including 6 months fully paid maternity leave and 3 weeks paid paternity leave after 18 monthsβ service (and wedding leave!)
β’ And on top of all of this, the usuals done well. A matching pension scheme that increases with service, paid sick leave, bike to work scheme, wellbeing supports, and an employee referral programme with rewards of up to β¬4,000 (or equivalent) per referral.
