About the Role
ClickHouse is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Control Plane Infrastructure team. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-based infrastructure for ClickHouse Cloud customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, implement and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-based infrastructure in AWS (EKS, SQS, DocumentDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, Lambdas)
- →Automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- →Define and implement strategies for load balancing, auto-scaling, disaster recovery, and failover
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and security
- →Enhance DevX and help with instrumentation of cloud monitoring and alerting solutions
- →Work with the security team to implement security best practices
- →Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
- ✓Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, SQS, RDBMS, Node.JS
- ✓Deep understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security
- ✓Proven experience designing and operating large-scale public and internal APIs
- ✓Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ✓Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
