About the Role
We are looking for a Digital Solution Engineer to join Cloudflare’s Solutions Engineering organization in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves working with mid-market and commercial customers across the Asia Pacific region to guide them through digital transformation using Cloudflare’s platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead technical discovery to understand customer requirements and challenges
- →Own technical validation activities such as proof-of-concepts, RFP/RFI and solution design
- →Translate complex technical capabilities into clear outcome-driven solutions
- →Develop and maintain reusable demo assets, scripts, and reference solution design
- →Stay current on Cloudflare products, Internet technologies, and competitive landscape
Requirements
- ✓3+ years in a technical presales, solutions engineering, consulting, or related role
- ✓Strong knowledge of Internet fundamentals (HTTP/S, DNS, TLS, networking concepts, APIs)
- ✓Experience with Zero Trust frameworks, SASE architectures, or cloud security platforms
- ✓Hands-on experience with scripting or development (Python, JavaScript, Go, Bash) and comfortable with APIs/CLIs
- ✓Proven ability to engage directly with customers; running demos, whiteboarding solutions, and handling objections
- ✓Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently
- ✓Comfortable working across multiple markets and time zones in the APAC region
