About the Role
We are looking for a People Ops - HR Generalist to join Cloudflare, supporting the full employment lifecycle and ensuring smooth HR operations across Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Sweden. This role will provide expert guidance on People policies and drive consistent HR best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as HR subject matter expert for local labor law, ensuring all people processes align with country-specific statutory requirements.
- →Ensure all handbooks and policies comply with local employment laws and serve as the first point of contact for local nuances in global policies.
- →Prepare necessary data, documentation, and reporting for Works Council meetings in Germany and the Netherlands.
- →Support Talent Acquisition, HRBP, and managers in preparing co-determination documents for hires and employee changes.
- →Provide advisory and resolution support for Senior Managers and Directors on complex queries involving legal interpretation or unique circumstances.
- →Develop training materials for managers on leading international teams within the EMEA legal framework.
- →Contribute to improving HR processes, documentation, and workflows.
- →Operate as a credible partner for HRBPs, Employee Relations, and Legal teams.
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience as an HR Generalist, ideally multi-country within EMEA, with advisory responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- ✓In-depth knowledge of German labor law and familiarity with the German Works Constitution Act.
- ✓Advanced understanding of international employment and labor law within EMEA.
- ✓Analytical mindset with experience in continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- ✓Excellent communication skills with strong command of English and fluency in German.
- ✓Organized, pragmatic, and people-focused.
- ✓Experience using Workday and Zendesk or other HRIS tools.
