About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Cloudflare's Engineering Team. This role involves building foundational services that enable the world's largest organizations to run on Cloudflare, focusing on scaling and extending the Organizations model for large customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build APIs, UIs, internal tooling, and admin platforms for managing complex enterprise logic at scale
- →Design data models and architect high-performance services in Go
- →Optimize the PostgreSQL layer and ensure services are resilient within the Kubernetes ecosystem
- →Troubleshoot complex distributed traces using tools like Jaeger, Sentry, and Kibana
- →Expand domain knowledge and deliver change through AI tooling
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade applications
- ✓Deep proficiency in a typed language like Go, PHP, Rust, or Typescript
- ✓Experience designing distributed systems that are scalable, maintainable, and fault-tolerant
- ✓Comfortable navigating a React/TypeScript codebase to build or improve UI components
- ✓Experience with SQL, including schema design, query optimization, and serving globally distributed actors
- ✓Experience using distributed tracing, error tracking, and log analysis to debug production issues
- ✓Practical experience deploying and managing services in Kubernetes and Docker
- ✓Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation and maintaining high-uptime services
