About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team at Cloudflare. This role focuses on providing technical expertise during the sales cycle and ensuring customer success on the Cloudflare platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive technical discussions and implementations to help generate new business and expand existing business
- →Qualify prospect and customer use cases, discover technical requirements, lead demonstrations, and design solutions
- →Advise existing customers on technical best practices, implementation of Cloudflare products, and strategic guidance
- →Collaborate with various teams at Cloudflare, including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support
- →Travel 30-40% to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events
Requirements
- ✓Demonstrated understanding of internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7, Routing TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSL/TLS
- ✓Comfort with on premise infrastructure and networking configurations
- ✓Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role
- ✓Technical curiosity and passion for staying up to date with industry trends
- ✓Focus on learning, teaching, collaboration, mentorship, and growth
- ✓Strong project management, relationship building, and EQ skills
