Cloudinary is looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant to join our Professional Services team. In this customer-facing, delivery-focused role, you’ll lead Cloudinary implementations using our proprietary CLOUD methodology and internal delivery playbooks.
You’ll manage implementation delivery across a range of customer projects, collaborating with Solution Architects on complex engagements, and independently leading lighter ones from start to finish.
This is a hybrid role that combines:
Project leadership – You’ll take full ownership of implementation delivery from kickoff through go-live, proactively managing scope, risks, and stakeholders while driving projects to successful outcomes with minimal oversight.
Cloudinary product consultation – You’ll act as a trusted advisor, translating customer business objectives into scalable Cloudinary solutions, guiding configuration, best practices, and adoption based on deep product expertise and real-world experience.
Customer engagement – You’ll confidently lead customer interactions, including senior stakeholders, building credibility through clear, outcome-focused communication and driving alignment in fast-paced, high-impact delivery environments.

Responsibilities:
• Own End-to-End Implementation Delivery: Lead customer implementations from kickoff through go-live with full accountability for outcomes, leveraging Cloudinary’s CLOUD methodology and delivery playbooks while applying sound judgment in adapting them to complex, real-world scenarios.
• Drive Scoping, Planning & Execution: Define and manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables with minimal oversight. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, and take corrective action to keep projects on track.
• Lead Complex, Cross-Functional Engagements: Partner closely with Solution Architects on technically complex implementations, ensuring seamless coordination between architecture, delivery, and customer stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
• Independently Deliver Implementations: Execute light-to-moderate complexity projects autonomously, including platform configuration, workflow design, and customer enablement, without reliance on step-by-step guidance.
• Act as a Trusted Customer Advisor: Translate customer business objectives into effective Cloudinary solutions, guiding stakeholders toward best practices and ensuring measurable alignment to defined success criteria and KPIs.
• Own Customer Engagement & Executive Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact throughout delivery, confidently managing senior stakeholders, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring a smooth transition to Customer Success, Account Management, and Support.
• Orchestrate Internal & External Stakeholders: Coordinate across Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and external partners to remove blockers, drive alignment, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Collaborate with Delivery Partners: Work effectively with system integrators and delivery partners, providing direction, ensuring quality of execution, and maintaining accountability across shared project responsibilities.
• Drive Commercial Impact & Growth Opportunities: Maintain a commercially minded approach throughout delivery, identifying opportunities for expanded use cases, increased adoption, and future value. Translating these into actionable recommendations to enable Customer Success and Account Management to build on a defined growth roadmap post-handover.
• Elevate Delivery Excellence: Contribute to the evolution of Professional Services by refining methodologies, improving playbooks and tooling, and actively shaping team practices through retrospectives, enablement, and strategic initiatives.
About you:
• Proven experience in SaaS delivery: 5+ years of experience in SaaS implementation consulting, onboarding, or project delivery roles, with a track record of successfully delivering customer-facing projects in fast-paced environments.
• End-to-end ownership of implementations: Demonstrated experience leading full lifecycle SaaS implementations—from discovery and scoping through delivery and go-live—with accountability for outcomes, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong stakeholder management & executive presence: Ability to engage, influence, and align both technical and business stakeholders, including senior audiences, driving decisions and maintaining momentum across complex engagements.
• Consultative and solution-oriented mindset: Experience translating business requirements into scalable solutions, advising customers on best practices, and guiding them toward optimal platform adoption.
• Comfort operating with autonomy: Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, make sound decisions independently, and drive progress without reliance on close oversight.
• Experience with technical delivery concepts: Comfortable working within technical implementations, including platform configuration, asset structuring/tagging, workflow design, and collaborating effectively with engineering and architecture counterparts.
• Ecosystem familiarity: Experience working within digital media, DAM, or martech ecosystems; familiarity with platforms such as Cloudinary, Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager, or Shopify is a strong plus.
• Partner and cross-functional collaboration: Experience working alongside system integrators, delivery partners, and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring alignment, quality, and shared accountability across all contributors.
• Strong project and operational discipline: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, balance competing priorities, and maintain high standards of delivery quality.
• Continuous improvement mindset: Experience contributing to or improving delivery methodologies, playbooks, or team practices, with a focus on driving efficiency and scaling Professional Services.
