About the Role
Coalfire is seeking a Consultant to join their team, working on cybersecurity challenges and advising clients on security best practices. The Consultant will lead engagements, assess client applications and infrastructure, and provide subject matter expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work independently and collaboratively to lead and support projects
- →Perform penetration testing on complex applications from both Blackbox and Whitebox perspectives
- →Assess emerging and custom technologies
- →Contextualize vulnerabilities and assess realistic impact
- →Manage priorities and tasks to achieve utilization targets
- →Maintain professionalism with clients and internally
- →Ensure quality reports and services are delivered efficiently
- →Collaborate with project managers and other team members
- →Up to 10% travel
Requirements
- ✓Application penetration testing and assessment tradecraft and methodologies
- ✓Strong working knowledge of at least two programming or scripting languages
- ✓Strong understanding of security principles and industry best practices
- ✓Minimum of 2 years’ experience in consulting or professional services
- ✓Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Application Security and/or Software Development
- ✓Proficiency in Web Application Penetration Testing
- ✓High school diploma required
