About the Role

We are looking for a Java Backend Engineer to join our team at Coderio. This role involves building and maintaining business-critical, high-availability platforms for global enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services for core business platforms
→Build and integrate RESTful APIs within microservices-based architectures
→Participate in modernization and evolution of existing systems
→Collaborate within agile (Scrum) teams across technology and business domains
→Ensure code quality, performance, security, and maintainability
→Participate in continuous deployment processes and production support
→Contribute technical judgment to design and architectural decisions

Requirements

✓8+ years of experience developing enterprise Java backend applications
✓Strong experience building and integrating REST APIs
✓Hands-on experience with microservices architectures
✓Solid experience with relational databases, including Oracle SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or SQL Server
✓Experience working in agile environments (Scrum)
✓Strong background working in Linux environments
✓Experience with high-transactional or mission-critical systems (banking, government, large enterprises)
✓Strong autonomy, ownership, and problem-solving skills
✓Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders
