About the Role
We are seeking an AI Growth Engineer to drive AI adoption across Coinbase by working within AI Growth Pods. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, hands-on technical ability, and exceptional cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with teams across the organization to understand workflows, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities for AI automation
- →Apply advanced GenAI techniques to design, build, and iterate on functional prototypes
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve prototypes into scalable, secure, production-grade AI solutions
- →Provide guidance on AI capabilities, responsible AI usage, and strategic integration of AI
- →Pilot new AI solutions with functional teams, gather feedback, and support adoption
- →Work with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure AI solutions adhere to guidelines
- →Define success metrics, track ROI, and communicate value delivered by AI initiatives
- →Research and experiment with emerging AI models and tools
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 6 months focused on applied AI
- ✓Strong software engineering skills in designing, building, and maintaining production services
- ✓Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code
- ✓Understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, and architectures
- ✓Hands-on experience with AI tools and platforms
- ✓Highly analytical and structured problem-solver
- ✓Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and non-engineering teams
- ✓Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and ethical considerations related to AI
