About the Role
Coinbase is seeking experienced backend engineers to join their team and build the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. This role involves solving complex technical problems at scale, bridging web-scale applications and blockchain technology.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang
- →Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology
- →Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems
- →Work with engineers, designers, and product managers to create quarterly roadmaps
- →Write high quality, well-tested code for customer needs
Requirements
- ✓At least 5 years of experience in software engineering
- ✓Experience designing, building, scaling and maintaining production services
- ✓Knowledge of composing service oriented architecture
- ✓Passion for building an open financial system
- ✓Experience with Blockchain technology (Bitcoin, Ethereum)
- ✓Experience decomposing monoliths into microservices
- ✓Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB or DynamoDB
- ✓Experience building financial, high reliability or security systems
